Since it has only been 3 months since my myomectomy I can't try to get pregnant again just yet, but I can however freeze my eggs so when I am given the green light then I'll be ready to go. To make my chances of fertilization greater, I will need as many eggs as possible retrieved so I have been prescribed several medications some of which I will have to inject everyday to help stimulate follicle development. While I am not afraid of needles, I am NOT comfortable giving myself a shot or in this case more than one shot a day everyday for several weeks so we shall see.
In other news, I'm planning on moving to Alaska to be closer to my brother & sister-in-law! I'm really excited about the move, with everything that has happened this year I desperately need a fresh start. I don't have a move date yet because I have to sell my house first. I could go ahead and move to Alaska while I'm waiting for my house to sell but I really don't want to pay both my mortgage and rent on an apartment. Unfortunately I can't live with my brother because both him & his wife are seriously allergic to cats so I would have to rent a place. I'm still very much enjoying my sabbatical, I knew I needed this time off to take care of myself but I didn't really know how much of a toll it had all taken on me. Anyways, my house should be ready to go on the market next week so let's hope it sells fast so I can get going already! And if you're wondering...yes, this move will affect my home study as I will have to pay to have it transferred and updated (again), oh and I have to research and find a new agency in Alaska.
