End of the Infant Room

She had her last day in the infant room at daycare today. When she returns next week she and a few of her classmates will move up to the toddler room.  She's had so many developmental milestones since starting at the new daycare in June; crawling, weaned from the bottle, drinking from a sippy cup, eating solid foods, standing, climbing, just to name a few. The teachers gave us a CD of pictures to commemorate their time in the class...

13 Months

It's fitting that she is now one, because in the past month she has grown so much. She's looking much more like a toddler than a baby. She's a very good eater, she prefers the foods that I eat. When she is in a new environment, she is an observer, quietly watching the activity around her. But when she is with just a few people or at home, she's very active and joyfully expressive. It's fun to watch her personality emerge.

Dinner al Fresco

The weather here has been beautiful, really hot, but I'll take the extreme heat over extreme cold any day!  Last night I decided to take our dinner outside.  It was just too nice to eat inside.
