Pajama Extravaganza - Day 3
She's slightly obsessed with power cords right now, like my computer, the television, the baby monitor...so, I bought her a jump rope from the dollar store and she was distracted for like a whole 5 minutes :)

Pajama Extravaganza
She recently outgrew several of her pajamas so we went shopping yesterday and I went a little pajama crazy, the sale was too good to pass up :) And so we begin the pajama extravaganza...here is pajama day #1!

Will Crawl for Food
She started army crawling today, it was so exciting! Her favorite veggie snacks were a great motivator! The day started when she woke up at 2 am, I was able to get her back to sleep but she still woke up at her usual 5:45. She started crawling for the first time right after breakfast which leads me to think that's why she woke up in the middle of the night -- she was ready to get crawling! By dinner time she was exhausted and when I put her to bed at 6:30 she went right to sleep with no protesting at all.

4th of July
The last time I saw the parade was 2008, and with the hot weather I would've gladly skipped it again this year but I thought it was important to take my daughter to see her very first parade. I'm glad we did.
It was so damn hot outside but we stayed for almost 3/4 of the parade and then went home to chill out for the rest of the afternoon.
For dinner we went to my Grandma's house. Today would've been my Grandfather's 90th birthday (he died in 2007) so my Grandma was having a tough day. I think having us there helped...I mean who could be sad with this happy face?
The girls hanging out before the parade...

She is so close to crawling...
Trying to pull herself up by holding onto 100+ year old furniture,
thankfully her Great-Grandma is too crazy about her to mind!
