16 Months

I can't believe that she is 16 months old today. She's changing so much every day! She is so much fun right now and also so challenging. She has the best laugh I've ever heard. It's so easy to make her laugh. I laugh right along with her, sometimes so hard it makes me cry. She loves animals and books. Books are her favorite thing, over any toy she has. Since she was a newborn I have been reading to her so this makes me so proud.  We read at least 20+ books a day. It's too early to tell, but the way she pick up books and studies the pages so intently makes me think she's impatient for the day she'll finally be able to read the words herself. She has her favorite books to read. She is on the move! She walks everywhere now and is trying to climb up onto everything.  Another tooth is finally starting to come in, she now has three — one on top and two on the bottom. She's starting to look more and more like a toddler then a baby. She babbles and looks at me as if I'm supposed to understand what she's saying. She understands what I'm saying some of the time. I can't wait to see how she reacts to all the Christmas stuff going up in a few weeks.

She loves going out to eat & drinking from a straw

Eating yogurt is really good but very messy!

Happy Halloween

Mom, can we go outside?
I don't want to take pictures, I want to go out and trick or treat!

I'm not going to wear the headband anymore
I love Halloween!

Blog Anniversary

I realized recently that tomorrow is the 5 year anniversary of the start of this blog. I created this so I could keep record for my future little one to read about one day. I could never have imagined when I started this what my life would be like five years later.  I'm glad that I've kept this going because I can look back at what I've been through, and I can cherish all of the amazing moments my daughter has brought to my life.

Back to School

Well, I'm a full-time student again! I started two weeks ago and I'm studying Phlebotomy, with the hopes of continuing onto studying Surgical Technology. To say it has been challenging is an understatement. But, I've been through my first exam (I got a respectable 87%), and I'm s-l-o-w-l-y starting to get into the groove of studying. I was really anxious on my first day of school, I had to keep reminding myself that I'm going to school to learn, so it's okay not to know everything already. It's all good and things will work out just fine, at least that is what I keep telling myself ;-)
