Happy Halloween 2013

Nina dressed up last weekend for the pumpkin fest which was a good thing since on Halloween the weather was not favorable to take pictures outside.

Weekend Fun

It's definitely fall outside, about 20 degrees cooler than normal, but we still managed to have fun! Our au pair had the weekend off so it was a great excuse to just spend quality mommy/daughter time together.

What did you say?

This past weekend was a very lazy one, I didn’t get much done. Nina and I have been sick, Nina is starting to feel better (she had Croup), and I’m hoping that I’ll start feeling better soon. The positive to all this is that we got to spend lots of time together and we had a lot of funny conversations...

Nina: Mommy, where's your computer?
Me: Do you mean "your" computer? (the iPad)
Nina: Yes, please go get it.
Me: No, I'm not getting out of bed at 5:30AM to go downstairs to get the computer.

Me: Are you going to take a nap?
Nina: No thanks, Mommy.

When I was trying to change Nina's diaper...
Nina: Mommy, stay away from me.
Me: Stay away?
Nina: Yes, stay away.

Me: It's time to go to bed now.
Nina: I sleep in mommy's bed tonight, thank you.
Me: (start laughing)
Nina: No laughing mommy! I want snack.
Me: A snack? What do you want?
Nina: Adine's cereal.
She then proceeds to eat a bowl of cereal in my bed.

Pumpkin Patch

Last weekend we visited the pumpkin patch as part of an Au Pair Family outing. The weather was really nice and I think Nina had a fun time. It was certainly a lot better experience than last year when it was muddy and raining.
